比如作者在塑造薛蟠这个人物时，他交代了这个人物的出生，薛蟠是薛宝钗的哥哥，是贾宝玉的姨表亲，是富可敌国的皇商家族的独生子，而父亲早逝，所以大家就不难理解这样的薛蟠可以纵容手下的家仆为了抢得香菱，打死冯渊，也不难理解薛蟠天天吃喝玩乐不务正业。可是，作者又塑造了薛蟠另外一面，在尤三姐死后，书里这么写：“这时，薛蟠进门，眼中尚有泪痕”，这个无恶不作的少爷，自有他善良动情的一面。
作者塑造的贾雨村，这个人是书里的一条线索，通过他的出场和描述展开《红楼梦》的故事。贾雨村出生在一个没落的官宦家庭，在他住在葫芦庙卖字为生时，他就以他的诗文以及谈吐，体现了他与众不同的高格调。他不看重金钱，甄士隐赠送五十两银子资助他进京赶考，书中写他“略谢一语，并不介意，仍是吃酒谈笑”。而他和甄士隐的丫头娇杏一见钟情并修成正果，也体现了贾雨村有情有义，这是有骨气有性情的贾雨村。贾雨村利用给黛玉教书，通过黛玉的父亲林如海，交往了贾政，通过贾政的关系成功出任应天府，这又是运用关系的高手贾雨村。到了应天府，第一桩案子就是薛蟠打死冯渊的命案，在听取了门子的介绍和建议后，他放下法律草菅人命，这是官场里深谙平衡中庸之道，缺少原则的贾雨村。而为了杜绝后患，贾雨村最终把门子赶出应天府发配远方，这又是心狠手辣的贾雨村。
我们再来看一个人物，刘姥姥(刘姥姥是王狗儿的岳母，王狗儿的祖上和王熙凤的祖上是连宗)。刘姥姥进大观园，在大观园的自鸣钟面前，在各种丰富的官家珍馐佳肴面前，刘姥姥体现了她的知识缺乏和贫瘠。也正是

alice is a little simple girl.she was sitting under a tree at first.then she saw a white rabbit and ran after it,the rabbit jumped into a rabbit-hole and so did alice.she fell down and down and came to a different place called ‘wonderland’.everything was strange there.she saw the bottle which had ‘drink me’ on it and drank it,her size changed.that was really exciting! i always imagine that i can change my size according to my wishes,and then i can be tall enough to reach the biggest red apple which is hanging over on the top of the tree.or i can be short enough to visit the house of ants.do you think it would be interesting?so we can know how lucky alice was!

i have got a lot of interesting scientific knowledge from the books of national geographic reading expeditions, some of which are about life, physics. i really can’t help losing myself in the colorful pictures and clear words in the books. after reading the books, i have been considering a question: what if we lived without science? great changes have taken place in the world with the help of science. in the past, life was nasty, brutish and short. it is hard to imagine how our forefathers could do without so many conveniences that modern science brings about. back then, only a small group of people enjoyed the very few comforts. but the majority of people didn’t even have sufficient food, let along their privilege to be educated. anyway, it is science that changes the world and makes people’s life better and better, although it also leads to some bad aspects at the same time.
from the discovery of the gravity to the first step on the moon, we human beings have experienced a long process of developing science. and now, this process is still continuing much faster. new organisms are already being engineered, and new genetically modified crops promise benefits from higher yields and less use of harmful chemicals and so on. a lot of examples are showing this point. in the future, changes are likely to be even much greater as science reaches out to shape life itself. maybe one day, the possibility that life existed on mars billions of years ago will be potentially one of the greatest discoveries of our time. it is the force of the competition, we human beings’ inquiring mind and initiative that bring about the non-stopped development of science. therefore, it is difficult and impossible to prevent science from changing the world and our life as well.

看了《英语神厨》这本书，让我感慨万千，就像《站着上北大》一样感动着我。虽然文字朴实，没有什么特别动情的描述，但是往往动人的就是不造作的反映出真实的情感及默默的付出。这是励志篇，告诉我们：做人就得倔，越是打击，越是奋起，条件苦心不能苦。
那讲讲我理解的大概情节吧：开篇是主人翁张立勇成名后给我们讲叙他如何坚持自学英语十年并通过国家等级考试，获得托福630分的高分的成绩。他回忆到当时家庭条件差，还有弟妹，所以在高二的时候毅然辍学南下打工，后经介绍到清华食堂做厨师，那是他梦寐以求的地方，于是他靠着自己的意念在工作之后恶补英语，能用上的时间能省下的钱都用在了英语上，把英语当成他的“女朋友”。无论条件再怎么差，他都咬紧牙挺着，敢说敢做敢拼，最终成为清华学子的一员并取得成功。
我把本书总结了两组关键字：环境和坚持。
可以说张立勇是聪明的人，他能够最大限度的利用身处清华这个大环境中的资源武装并提升自己。所以他说一个人要有抵制环境诱惑的能力，还要有给自己创造学习环境的能力。正是因为这种环境促使他更加努力奋斗。他和《站着上北大》的相伟一样利用了环境这个大资源去追寻自己的梦想并实现。想想自己也是中途辍学的，因为年少时的傲气而下了一个看似爽快实则草率的决定。()现在虽然还能看看书写点什么，但是环境不同氛围不同所导致的成果也是不同。早几年更是根本看不下什么书，就像很多人说的出了社会心也静不下来了。而“孟母三迁”的成语故事，在告诫和强调我们选择良好环境的重要性。
光有环境是不行的，还得靠坚持。并不是每一个从北大出来的学生都是光环照身而得到认可的，是要付出艰辛和努力并持之以恒才能回报。我们往往看到的是光鲜的一面，而忽略了底下的努力和坚持。除了坚持努力外，还得坚持自己的原则。所以张立勇给自己立了一个“永不动摇的时间表”而背了个“铁公鸡”的绰号。而这种执着让我动容，也鞭策着我坚持下去。做与不做都在一念之间，做下去却是一鼓作气的，我要给自己争口气，坚持到最后胜利！
