can money buy happiness? different people have different opinions. some think yes, while others hold the opposite.
it is true that with enough money one can buy all the things one wants, and live a life of comfort and security. however, it is equally true that lack of money causes great distress. it is a common view that "money is the root of all evil." the pursuit of money drives many people to cheat and steal. in some places there is nothing that cannot be bought with money, resulting in corrupt societies where everybody is miserable.
so, money does not necessarily mean happiness. it all depends on how it is used. if we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be a stepping-stone to happiness l although money cannot buy happiness, it can make happiness possible if it is employed sensibly.

大家好!
今天我的演讲题目是《追梦青春》。说到青春，相信每一位前辈长者都会不禁回想起当年那追逐梦想的时代。是的，现在想起来，那段时光依然是那么的华美。因为那里有他们奋斗拼搏过的痕迹。
然而我们现在也已撇下无知迎来了属于我们的青春。青春，让我们肆无忌惮，畅然释怀，体味风那样的自由，感受云那般的自在，因为青春赋予我们的是生命的巅峰。而青春是需要向着梦想不断奔跑的，因为唯有这样，才能让我们对充满挑战的明天信心满满。
人生是对梦想的追求，而梦想则是人生的指示灯，失去了这盏灯的作用，就会失去生活的方向。因此，只有朝着梦想不断前行，才不会在生活的海洋中迷失自我。然而追梦的过程往往充满着苦难。正如高尔基曾说过“青春是一个普通名词，它是幸福美好的，但它也充满着艰苦与磨练。”他告诉我们追逐梦想的道路不会是一帆风顺的。青春，可以说是人的生命历程中最靠近梦想的时期，在这一时期，我们要充满激情，充满活力，我们要斗志昂扬，我们要无所畏惧，不论是披星戴月，还是满路荆棘，我们都要一心向前。
说到这里，我不禁想起了我们公司外聘的一位老工程师。我很喜欢听他讲他当年的经历，他的经历中并没有那种尽人皆知轰轰烈烈的大事。但每次他说起来的时候总会让我感受到他就像回到当年一样的激情活力。开过出租车。后来在乌克兰工作了几年，再后来回国在__卖过可乐、卖过服装、开过饭馆，还搞过一个钻笔刀的专利而且用自己的专利办了一个工厂。做扶贫工作的时候还为了某个贫困镇的农产品在全国各地东奔西跑的找销售渠道。直到后来随着老母亲的病重及自己年龄的变大做回了办公室里画画图搞搞设计的工作。我曾问他：“您当年做了这么多事，那您的梦想到底是什么呢?”他告诉我说：“我们那个年代，几乎所有人的梦想都只有一句话，做个有用的人。所以我们的青春都在努力的去寻找和体现自己的价值，虽说我没什么大的成就但想想那时候丰富的经历，也无憾了，只是青春美好却也易逝啊!”
是啊，青春是易逝的，青春同时也是人生中最壮丽的一幅巨作，是最难忘的一段年华。这位老前辈的一生中并没有什么大成就，但是他的这幅巨作却是满满当当，丰富多彩的，因为那里谱满了他向着梦想奋斗的音符。如今，正值青春的我们，何不在这易逝的青春中争分夺秒向着梦想奔跑呢?当然，这一路中难免会留下伤疤，但我相信，肯定不会留遗憾!留下的疤痕是我们成长的见证，是我们逐渐坚毅的体现，而有些遗憾，却是这一辈子也无法弥补修复的!人的一生只有一次青春。现在，青春是用来奋斗的;将来，青春是用来回忆的。
再想想当年，许许多多的正值青春年少的革命先辈们用他们的青春为新中国的成立抛头颅，洒热血，为我们创造了良好的条件。而作为新世纪的我们，只在幸福年代接过建设者的任务，贡献自己的微薄之力，我们又有什么理由可以蹉跎岁月，辜负这青春韶光呢?所以，同志们，就让我们向着梦想起航，让我们的青春尽情飞扬!
