what will you do at the end of days.

once i take it for granted, enjoying the warm sunshine ,eating the delicious food, living in the world and just killing the time.i’m not sure of what i shuld do for my future and what i can do for others.

and one film seems to make me aware of them,it’s called 2012.not only did the excellent stunt makes me forget to breathe, but also its moving plots hit my heart as well.i still remembered that president of the united sorgtates said,”everyone should have a chance to ask for forgivene to each other, mothers should have a chance to comfort their children.and let’s step into into the darkne together.”though it was the end of the days, the president gave his fellow citizens rights to know.although the busineman was cheap and selfish,he threw his children to the ship and he lost the chance to survive.at this moment , i realized that my parents will never discard me whatever happens.

after watching it ,i began to think about what i would do when the same devastating catastrophy happened.and now,i clearly figure out what i should do.from now on,i will cherish all the things i have, for instance, the love from my parents and friends, the health, the wits.what the most meaningful thing i will

do is that i will help and comfort the people who are suffering from difficulties .last but not least.i will endeavor to realize my dream and i want to be an interpreter.and i will never regret when i am at the end of days.

i remember the first time i watched "reason and emotion", i was probably still in junior high school. i loved my lively sister very much. maybe it was kate at that time who permeated the classical pure beauty. it was so moving. clearly remember, marianne said, the more books i read, the less likely i was to meet real feelings. then i think of colonel brandon coming in with the song and seeing marianne in front of the piano. the sun is shining on her face. its so picturesque and full of emotion.

so at that time, i chose the vigorous marian to love. its as if someone guessed that you were smiling or sobbing, as if you could bring sunshine to the whole room by laughing, as if you sat there and let the melody flow out of your fingers, and everyone was quietly immersed in your notes, as if you could laugh and cry without any external factors, as if you were full of vitality because of youth hua feiyangs playfulness can make the world around you willfully.

however, marianne only glowed at a young age. so many years later, when i saw the bbcs remake of three episodes of "reason and emotion", i clearly gave more love to marians sister, eleanor, who used to be silent in my world. not so surrounded by the light, not so handsome face, but quietly share your worries, and then bear the sadness of yourself, still hold up your expectations.

the same background and growing up experience, however, they are like two stages of growing up for me, although their differences are actually static personality problems. it should be rare for a person like eleanor in his early days to be tolerant, restrained and understanding. more of us are just marianne. i used to think that the most beautiful and perfect things are the normality of a certain stage of our lives, and will be killed eventually.

the simple to willful marianne was at last willing to be quiet beside the people she had previously despised. but i am no longer infatuated with the halo that self puts on for her, reason is bigger than emotion, growth is really a kind of compromise. but i dont want to deny this kind of compromise, just as this post is not to commemorate the marianne who everyone used to be. i am not so attached to the madness of willfulness.

recently, its just the story of passing by others. its probably not just the impulse that breaks the previous fate. theres no fate, no place to rest. isnt that the best refuge? its hard to stop suddenly. after i finish the competition between reason and emotion, i still laugh at myself, maybe i am the most naive one.

“oliver twist” is a realisticnovel of the british author charles dickens. it was published in 1838. this story based on the background of london, telling the tragic life experience and encounter of an orphan. oliver grew up in an orphanage, experienced apprenticeship hard refugees. he experienced many difficulties and bravely overcame them.

no matter how hard the situation was, he still held good hope and kindness in his heart. therefore, he got help from kind-hearted people who know his life experiece and got happiness. i am moved by this inspirational story and this brave, kind little boy. i think that no matter what happens to us, we can never lose hope, kindness and braveness, because these are the motivations that can support us to go on.

i have never been to troy, but david maule made me feel as if i were standing on the high wall of troy, watching the fierce war. thanks to this british author, who adapted the famous homersquo;s poem into a lively story, i found it easier to understand this story. though the story happened over 3000 years ago in a remote place, i was deeply fascinated by it. the mysterious plot is one of the reasons why i loved the story of troy so much, yet i am more interested in the human heroes of the war.

hector was the eldest son of king of troy, priam. he was not only a real hero of trojan, but was regarded the highest moral hero in greek classic by later historians. the war started because of the mischief of his brother, paris, whom he didnsquo;t appreciate. however, since hector was the commander of the trojan army, he was obliged to fight with all force. it was really a tragedy that such a valiant man died in the duel with another great warrior, achilles.

it is natural to see death in a war. as a famous chinese parable says, a life can be as slight as a piece of feather, or as weighty as mount tai. sometimes, onesquo;s glory walks hand in hand with onesquo;s doom. achilles was such a typical person. his personal charm made the story of troy more attractive. he was so crucial because his every appearance in a war encouraged his fellow soldiers and terrified the enemies. actually, achilles was half-god who was almost invincible in peoplesquo;s mind. thatsquo;s why his name was memorized long after his death.

besides the two great men, the wisdom of odysseus also proved him to be a great hero. he didnsquo;t want to attend the war because he was happily married and had a lovely son. however, since his country was allied to mycenae, he had to take the command given by the king of mycenae. isquo;m quite sure that the story of the wooden horse is widely known, however, few people know who thought of the brilliant idea, thatsquo;s why i admired odysseus so much because he was the person who got the idea. thanks to the horse, the ten-year war came to an end at last. if you want to know how the wooden horse worked, just read the book.

the ancient greeks believed that the gods and goddesses also played important roles in the origin, process and ending of the whole story.

the story of the golden apple was such an example. when eris, the goddess of argument and disagreement, threw out the golden apple to a wedding ceremony on mount olympus, a dispute happened. hera, the queen of gods, athena, the goddess of wisdom, and aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, were all involved in the argument for the apple. none of them was willing to give way, so they turned to paris for a final judgment. tempted by aphroditesquo;s beauty and promise, paris handed the apple to her. to keep her word, aphrodite helped him to get helen, the most beautiful woman in the world, as his wife. that was the cause of the war.

parissquo;s choice obviously annoyed the other two goddesses. so during the war, they helped the greek alliance army while some other gods, such as apollo and aphrodite, guarded troy. when paris dueled with helensquo;s former husband menelaus, aphrodite saved paris when he was about to be finished off.

after the duel between those two people, there was a truce between the greek alliance and troy. however, both hera and athena were not happy to see it. hera pursued her husband zeus: now, will you send athena to make the troyjans break the peace?(page 22) then with zeussquo;s permission, athena went down to start the war again and finally she brought the greeks to success.

from the whole story, we can see that in ancient greekssquo; view, gods sometimes played a much more important role in their life. however, with the rapid development of science, we have learned that the greek gods never existed. this is why a recent movie of troy has not mentioned a single god. everything happened due to mensquo;s ambition, love, loyalty or jealousy. with those emotion and peoplesquo;s effort, we human beings can accomplish wonders and be master of the world.

god are of less importance than they used to be. nonetheless, the gods and goddesses made the story of troy more mysterious and marvelous.

i have learnt from the book more than the wonderful story of history, love and war. i believe that human can determine their destiny by their own. i highly recommend this book to my friends with the same interest.

this is a powerful yet charming movie; fun for its special effects and profound in how it keeps you thinking long after it"s over. like others, i"ve seen this movie more than once. one comment i"ve never heard is that forrest"s simplicity is almost zen-like. i should read the novel to get the author"s intention (i remember some people preferring the book and complaining that no one at the academy awards gave him any credit.) but rather than an implication that you should do what you"re supposed to do and believe in god and you"ll win in the end, i see it as zen-like, i.e., living in the moment and not having expectations or particular cravings (other than his loving jenny.)so he ends up just stumbling into all the major historical events of the time. granted, he achieves this only because he doesn"t have the brains to think otherwise and actually have expectations, but so many of our problems are because we do have higher intellect and desires, which ironically makes us unhappy because we know what we are missing. we love our cats and dogs for the same simplicity and always being in the moment. there"s a line in the movie wondering if everything is predestined or happens randomly or it"s a combination of both. it is something to mull over for a long time.
